IMPRESIONISMO ABSTRACTO ⧫ IN ENGLISH
Painting the first icon of a city that I could meet in
person was a very strange painting since I was used to painting cities that I
had never set foot in, but since I did not have a painting with the technique
of IMPRESIONISMO ABSTRACTO
of the country where I was born, come and see me. the experience I had to know
this monument in my city.
The first time I was in Bueno Aires I remember perfectly
since it was the first time I was in a mega city, I was of legal age at that
time, I always lived in the north of Argentina away from everything, I remember
taking a bus and it was like 12 hours of travel, when I arrived I only saw
those soaring buildings and not all the images of those places that appeared in
the news were in front of me surrounding me, the world looked differently.
There is a particular place in Buenos Aires where all the people get together
when there is some important event, if I did not take a photo in that place it
was like I had never visited the capital of Argentina, I remember that this trip
was done with a group Colleagues from the university, after having visited many
historical places it was already getting dark and the tour ended in this
world-renowned Argentine icon, I saw it in the distance fully illuminated on a
typical noisy night in this city where it seems that no one ever sleeps, full
of tourists taking pictures and I was there in the middle of all that.
At the time of painting this painting, all these images came
to mind and I said that I am going to paint it totally solitary, they are all
the daily bustle that it receives, located in the center of the painting, it
was a small canvas and as this work belongs to this series of icons of the
world with a theme of warm colors I continued with that common thread,
emphasizing the color yellow above everything else, as a totally clear panorama
that color covers everything with the style of short brushstroke that I use,
the rest I left in red color as what gives weight to what surrounds this
structure, what is others, but which at the same time complements the image,
without giving much specification, only moving color giving funnel-like effects
such as abstract printing he swallows everything around him and saying in the
middle of the painting look at me I'm here I am the most important thing of
all, like when I saw him in person for the first time, everything around him
was breaking down and passing overlooked as meaningless shadows and the
all-illuminated obelisk attracting everyone's attention in the middle of the
street, even if it is not a total abstract impression, this work represents
what I saw at the time of meeting my first icon in the world, since I did not
have the opportunity to travel to different countries at that time in my life.

IMPRESIONISMO ABSTRACTO ⧫ EN ESPAÑOL
Pintar en
cuadro el primer icono de una ciudad al que pude conocer en persona fue muy
extraño ya que estaba acostumbrado a pintar ciudades que jamás había pisado,
pero como no tener un cuadro con la técnica del IMPRESIONISMO ABSTRACTO del
país donde nací, acompáñenme a ver la experiencia que tuve al conocer este
monumento de mi ciudad.
La primera
vez que estuve en Bueno Aires me la acuerdo perfectamente ya que fue la primera
vez que estuve en una mega ciudad, ya era mayor de edad en ese momento, siempre
viví al norte de la Argentina alejado de todo, me acuerdo que tome un bus y
fueron como 12 horas de viaje, al llegar solo veía esos edificios altísimos y
no todas las imágenes de esos lugares que salían en las noticias estaban frente
a mi rodeándome, el mundo se veía de otra forma. Hay un lugar particular en
Buenos Aires a donde toda la gente se junta cuando hay algún acontecimiento
importante, si no me sacaba una foto en ese lugar era como que jamás había
visitado la capital de Argentina, me acuerdo que este viaje lo realice con un
grupo compañeros de la universidad, después de haber recorrido muchos lugares
históricos ya se hacía de noche y el recorrido terminaba en este icono
argentino reconocido mundialmente, lo vi a lo lejos iluminado totalmente en una
típica noche ruidosa de esta ciudad donde parece que nadie nunca duerme, lleno
de turistas sacándose fotos y yo estaba ahí en medio de todo eso.
A la hora
de pintar este cuadro se me vinieron todas estas imágenes a la cabeza y dije lo
voy a pintar totalmente solitario son todo el bullicio cotidiano que recibe,
ubicado en el centro del cuadro, era un lienzo pequeño y como esta obra
pertenece a esta serie de iconos del mundo con temática de colores cálidos
seguí con ese hilo conductor, dando hincapié al color amarillo por sobre todo
lo demás, como un panorama totalmente despejado ese color va cubriendo todo con
el estilo de pincelada corta que utilice, lo demás lo deje en color rojo como
lo que da peso a lo que rodea a esta estructura, lo que esta demás, pero que a la
vez complementa a la imagen, sin dar mucha especificación, solo color en
movimiento dando efectos como de embudo como que la impresión abstracta se va
tragando todo a su alrededor y diciendo en medio del cuadro mírame estoy aquí
soy lo más importante de todo, como cuando lo vi en persona por primera vez,
todo a su alrededor se descomponía y se pasaba por alto como sombras sin
sentido y el obelisco todo iluminado llamando la atención de todos en medio de
la calle, aunque no sea una impresión abstracta total, esta obra representa lo
que vi en ese momento de conocer a mi primer icono del mundo, ya que no tuve la
posibilidad de viajar por distintos países en ese momento de mi vida.
